ABOUT THE STATION

a family-friendly destination in Upstate, SC, full of fun for all ages!

Follow us on social for updates, events and more!

"Model Trains Station (R)" is a part of the non profit "Mini World of Trains (R)" family incorporated in February 2010. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible and are run by our amazing volunteers.

The adventure started in downtown Greenville near Falls Park.  We then moved the following year to the Wade Hampton Blvd. location.  Both times we could not get a long term lease.  In October 2016 there was a change in ownership and we found our new home with a long term lease at Taylors Mill Development in Taylors, SC.  We got our Certificate of Occupancy and had our Grand Opening in December of 2017 with two train displays.  Today we have over 12 displays. The "Engine House" is being used as an office and train repair shop.

Now with over a dozen custom model train displays in scales of G, O, S, HO, N, Z and T scale trains and a special electrified Lionel Thomas the Train table for the Little Engineers in your family, the Station is the perfect learning and play stop in Upstate, SC.

As a not-for-profit organization, the Model Trains Station depends on individual donations and corporate sponsors to bring the best train associated activities to the Upstate of South Carolina. Your generous tax-deductible donations continue to be of the utmost importance in keeping this hobby alive. Thank you for your help!

Please mail donations to:  Model Trains Station, 250 Mill St., Suite 1250, Taylors, SC, 29687
